If only the patrons could run this huge sports bar, it would be great. But, alas, the Woolshed staff, esp. their shite, attitudinal managers, have to show up and ruin everything!!! How's this for an evening out: we ask them to put the NY Jets playoff game on one of their 50 TV sets, and we get shunted upstairs into a side room to watch it, instead of on one of the big screens that are running insignificant soccer matches that NOBODY is watching. Then, after delivering what was to be our first round of "pub grub," the waitress fails to tell us that the kitchen was about to close. So, 30 minutes later, when we order up Round Two, "Oh, sorry, the kitchen closed." So, our girlfriends go out to a fast-food place to get some food, and when we delve into it--mind you, we are ON THE FOURTH FLOOR BOTHERING NO ONE--SuperBiyatch, the pub's, gruff, female, manager-du-jour steps in to advise us that we "can't eat that rubbish in here." Now, I've managed a pub, and I know that sometimes you make a gut call, and, in this case, if I were told that the waitress failed to notice a group of people about a closing kitchen, I'd think twice, and maybe, just maybe, allow my starving patrons (who are STILL SPENDING MONEY ON DRINKS!!!) to finish their food and let bygones be bygones. But, what does Queen Buzzkill do, she goes and gets the male Guardia (that's Dublin speak for "policeman") on duty, and directs him to keep an eye on us. Well, he couldn't keep an eye on our girlfriends when they went to the bathroom, and, well, let it be known that the girls exacted revenge on the Woolshed staff, in a most unpleasant manner. Eff 'em!!! They deserved what they got.....AVOID THIS PIT!!! - Funslinger, USA - Jan 20, 2010
